Pumps

6” Electric Manure Transfer Pumps

The 6” electric manure transfer pump is designed to agitate and pump milking parlor wastewater and hog manure with fast results. The lower agitation nozzle will quickly agitate a small to medium sized reception pit and will transfer manure through a 4” PVC pipe up to several hundred feet (depending on elevation).

The 6” diameter impeller can agitate liquid at a rate of up to 480 GPM with a 5 HP electric motor. An oil-filled lower bearing assembly, with greasable seals, insures a long operating life. The 6” manure transfer pump is available in 4’ through 18’ lengths.

8” Electric Manure Transfer Pumps

For more demanding wastewater or hog manure pumping jobs, the 8” Vertical Pump is the right choice. This pump is the “big brother” of the 6” Vertical Pump, offering faster pumping and a bigger inlet that can handle minor debris. The belt drive is available in two speeds, for use with either a 7.5HP or 10HP motor. The square discharge tube adds extra rigidity.

The lower agitation nozzle rotates 270 degrees for thorough mixing of small to medium sized reception pits. And like all Jamesway pumps, the oil-filled lower bearing assembly with greaseable seals assures long life. The Jamesway 8” Vertical Pump is available in 4’ through 18’ lengths.

12 - 16” Electric Manure Transfer Pumps

The 12” and 16” electric manure transfer pumps are designed to agitate and pump out manure reception pits with minimum hassle and maximum performance. Available in lengths from 6’ to 16’, and equipped with a 12” or 16” diameter impeller, our manure pumps can be equipped with a wide variety of electric motors (7.5-40 HP) to get the job done fast and easy.

Standard equipment includes twin agitation nozzles that rotate 270 degrees and a reliable triple sealed oil-bath lower bearing. Choose either a stationary floor mount or a sliding/tilting mount that allows for fast, easy installation and servicing.

20” Electric Transfer Pumps

20” electric manure transfer pump is designed to agitate large manure reception pits and transfer up to 500’ to long-term storage. Available in lengths from 6’ to 16’, these pumps can be equipped with a 50, 75 or 100 HP electric motor to provide maximum pumping efficiency and performance.

Electric Prop Agitator

The Jamesway Electric Prop Agitator is used in reception pits to chop and blend bedding and manure into an easy-to-pump liquid. The back edge of the propeller is machined to scissor material against the hardened stationary knife edges and so reduces bedding length. The propeller may be aimed in any direction during operation for thorough agitation.

The high speed 20 inch diameter propeller produces a strong, concentrated stream of manure. The Jamesway Electric Prop Agitator may be equipped with a 7.5, 10 or 15HP motor according to the size of the reception pit. With larger motors, the higher speed on the propeller produces a higher volume stream that reaches further.

The propeller is mounted on an oversized gearbox, assuring long life. The gearbox is continuously charged with oil from the reservoir, and the output seals are greased by remote lines. The heavy square-tube body and high quality drive system with fiberglass shield have been used for many years in the 12” & 16” vertical pumps. These pumps are famous for durability, often with motors up to 40HP, so why would you want anything less? The Jamesway Electric Prop Agitator is first class from top to bottom.

Flush Pump

Jamesway offers a variety of pumps for special applications such as floor flushing, transfer of separated liquids and tanker loading. With features like the oilbath lower bearing chamber and remote greasing on the lower seals, these pumps use the same heavy duty construction found in all Jamesway pumps. Choose from 6” or 8” discharge, and from a wide selection of fittings to suit your needs.

Hydraulic Control Pump

The full hydraulic controls make this model the best choice for aggressive agitation of large storages. The upper nozzle can quickly and easily be aimed upward and downward or rotated a full 270º, while the hydraulic-operated diverter allows you to switch the output from agitation to loading. The flange-mounted lower nozzle can be “always open” (for sand or hog pits), or capped, or equipped with an optional hydraulic-powered gate valve. Available with 6” discharge in 6, 8, 10 or 12 foot models.

Underfloor Pump

This pump is a great choice for many applications but the unique controls make this your best choice for slatted floor barns. Movement of the nozzle can be carefully controlled to prevent accidental splashing through the slats. The gearbox-operated controls will not creep or wander, and are all accessible from the “dry side” of the pump. Hydraulic-powered cast iron gate valves eliminate seepage, and common debris like toe caps are no longer a problem. Available with 6” or 8” discharge in 8, 9 or 10 foot models.

Manual Control Pump

The same great construction as the other models is teamed with a simple, economical control package. With the controls on the “wet side”, this pump is often used in covered reception pits to transfer to storage. The optional anchoring kit allows floor mounting, and Jamesway has a wide range of valves and fittings for underground transfer. When used in open pits for tanker loading, the 6” discharge may be equipped with an optional hydraulic-powered gate valve and several choices of load-out kit. Available with 6” discharge in 6, 8, 10 or 12 foot models.

Floating Pumps

The Jamesway 40HP electric FLOATING PUMP may be used to directly flush the floors in large dairies, or can recharge a flush system holding tower. The heavy duty motor mount and main beam are based on the highly successful Jamesway family of vertical electric pumps. This high output pump features an innovative lower bearing system. Designed to operate with minimal maintenance, the lower bearing is located above the manure level and an oil reservoir maintains constant lubrication in the bearing chamber.

The Jamesway FLOATING PUMP has a 20” diameter impeller, offering important advantages over competitive 16” models. The larger impeller produces comparable volume and head pressure while operating at lower RPM’s, resulting in longer life for the bearings and seals. The larger inlet diameter also means less problems ingesting debris.

An on-board hoist tilts the pump for easy service and the high quality raft deck provides a stable platform for the pump. The fiberglass shield is rustproof, providing safety protection for you while protecting the drive from weather.

C-Pumps / Loading Pumps

Jamesway Centrifugal Pumps (C-Pumps) are versatile, compact and reliable workhorses. These pumps are used in a wide variety of applications, including:

• Under-floor recirculation of hog barns
• Transfer of manure to storage
• Manure tanker loading
• Charging of drag-hose pressure pump
• Nurse tank / Frac tank load out

The 20” diameter impeller model produces 1,700 GPM at 80 HP PTO, while the 28” diameter impeller produces 2,500 GPM at 100 HP. Both models are available in 3-Point Hitch mount and Trailer mount. As with all Jamesway pumps, the C-Pump impeller blade and housing are made from T-1 steel for long life. The drive shaft bearings run in an oilbath protected by 5 greaseable seals. The 6” diameter suction hose quick-couples onto the inlet, which is equipped with an internal flapper check valve.

Jamesway offers a wide variety of fittings and accessories to adapt fit your application.
